Mushroom released this album with a disclaimer stating "A contractual dispute has made it necessary to complete this record without the cooperation or endorsement of the group Heart, who have expressly disclaimed artistic involvement in completing this record." Some songs were new but not finished, some were live recordings from 1975 taken from a performance at the infamous Aquarius Tavern in North Seattle. Towards the end of the song Magazine you can hear a radio playing an eulogy for Elvis in the background. Also in the background one can hear a recording of the intro to Magic Man possibly played backwards. Heart took Mushroom to court and won. They were the first band in history to win such a case. The band remixed, edited and finished the songs before re-releasing the album in 1978.
